Suunto Clipper - Always There

Have had my luminous Suunto Clipper model for about a year, worn 24/7 field and office. I put my daily watch on the Suunto strap, so it can't be lost unless both pins fail. The compass has not come off the strap, is still luminous, settles quickly and is spot on accurate. Get one!

Suunto Clipper - Small but efficient

This is the second Suunto clipper compass I have bought. Lost the first one during a move because it slipped off the watch band. The size of the clip is way too narrow and it is the only thing that earns this product a demerit. I dont think this suunto clipper compass will fit most of the watch bands today; perhaps not even the Suunto watch bands themselves. However, this compass comes with a nylon and velcro strap big enough to be used as a wristband or hung from a key ring. The luminous bezel is a great addition for navigating in the dark. It looks and feels sturdy. I am not sure whether it is meant to deliver precise calibrations, but it is certainly more accurate than the compasses of a similar class from other popular brands around. Suunto Clipper works as it should

The smooth movement and steady mode inspire confidence. Had to grind down sharp edges on rear clamp to prevent uncomfortable, pointed edges.

Suunto Clipper - Number two

About 8 years ago, I received a Suunto watch compass as a gift. Put it on, never took it off, used it until it wore out, so now I have my "Number Two", and use it constantly. I live in a mountain area that is RUGGED. I'd be lost, literally, without my Suunto.

Pretty impressed with this compass. Very high quality construction, Lighted bezel turns with precision. VERY FAST response to direction finding. VERY IMPRESSED!

Success in Battle

I am on my second combat tour in Iraq, and have worn the clipper through both tours. Accurate as a linsatic compass!!!,tough, and low cost. If it can take this it can take anything!!!!

Suunto Clipper Compass

I am the commander of a police dive team. I have worn out three of these devices, I am without one now due to lack of availability. I am lost (literally) without this item. In the water or out, this compass has helped me in the many aspects of law enforcement
