Suunto Fabric Strap w/ Velcro Reviews
Nice Strap
Reviewer: Anonymous , Lander, WY

The strap was actually better than I thought it would be...very comfortable. I bought the strap for the plastic attachment bars to attach a 22mm Zulu Strap...which I did. The combo is awesome...fits the atachments great and those straps are bulletproof. Highly recommend this combo....but the strap itself isn't too bad. Not sure about the longgevity of it, but it was super comfortable.

strap life

I'm going to roll with what the dude from burbank said, and get a ZULU strap and use the adapters......that will be my combo as well. I'm probably going to get the 24 mm strap in a desert brown.

Small and uncomfortable

The watch band is made out of still nylon that scratches your hand when wearing it and if you have a large wrist do not buy this product because it will not be big enough.

Red fabric strap
Reviewer: Henrik , Woodridge, IL

I have the red fabric strap, that seems to be discontinued unfortunatelly. I love it! Changing the original was easy (needed 2 screwdrivers), and it's very comfortable! I use an Altimax for skydiving.

Decent Wristband

Although the hardware is good, the Velcro strap itself is very stiff and not remarkably comfortable. However, it does fit better than the original wristband

Good effort

While the strap isn't a heartstopper, I want to take time to say the adapters are what really make this accessory a must have for guys who need adaptability in a hard use watch like a Suunto Vector. I threw out the strap, and used the plastic adapters to attach a Zulu band, and it's a great combination, that's much more durable than Suunto's strap. Zulu bands are heavy nylon with steel buckles. I'd love iteven better if the adapters were sold as separate items.

Too Small, Poor Design
Reviewer: Anonymous , Raeford, NC
Date: March 04, 2007
I purchased the velcro band for my Vector. I have used velcro bands before on other watches. The Suunto brand is way too small and did not fit comfortably around my wrist. I also do not like the second band that goes underneath the velcro portion. Suunto needs to make one similar to the Timex Ironman velcro band.

Not Too Impressed
Reviewer: Dave , San Francisco, CA
Date: July 24, 2006
This strap was priced reasonably and delivered quickly. It was not difficult to install, but it did not include any instructions. Some brief explanation seems to me to be appropriate to include.
My biggest dissatisfaction is comfort related. A separate soft nylon portion of the strap protects you from the rougher velcro, but it has a tendency to slip and squirt out from under the band. Even when it stays put, the rough edge of the velcro can be irritating. I think a much cleaner and more comfortable design is possible with no change in cost or materials. I am looking for a different replacement band, perhaps an after market, because I am not happy with this one.

Strap Change
Reviewer: Sean Slattery , Chicago, IL
Date: July 22, 2006
The best thing that I did to the watch. The fabric strap is so much better than the original one that came with the watch. Change the stap to make a great watch even better. The fit is more exact and the comfort is first rate.
