Under certain conditions, such as when in the water, the Suunto Heart Rate Monitor does not transmit to your Suunto t-Series wristop training computer. The Suunto Memory Belt collects accurate heart rate data without the wrist unit when you're swimming, or under extreme conditions where data won't transmit properly. The wireless heart rate transmitter can also record up to 24 hours of beat-to-beat heart rate information on an memory chip for later downloads and analysis.
