Our Review of the Suunto Standard Heart Rate Belt
If you would like an extra Heart Rate Monitor Belt to use with your Suunto Metron, Advizor, X6-HR, n6HR, t1, and X3-HR, get the Suunto Standard Heart Rate Belt.. The Standard Heart Rate Belt comes in size medium: 24-34.5". If you need a larger or smaller strap, they are sold separately.
Formerly, Suunto used Polar technology in its Heart Rate monitors, but have since changed the design. The main reason for the change is because you could not manually replace a Polar® battery; you had to send it in to get it changed. A real drag! With the current transmitters, you can replace the battery yourself. It's much more convenient.

Suunto Transmitter Belt

Great comfort was my every experience in wearing the Suunto X6HR belt transmitter tucked under the elastic support of my bra. I never worried about it being lost or dropped while exercising. Unlike my being distracted while exiting my vehicle and thought I had locked my key in the car when it wasn't found in my interior pocket of my exercise shorts. I proceeded on my group run and linked up with a friend to drive me home afterward to pick up my extra key. What I thought was my sitting on the seatbelt clasp turned out to be the key which was stuck between the cheeks of my buttocks, and had remained there throughout the entire run! To this day, I am said to have "buns of steel". Such is the humor of my life!

HR Belt awesome

had to replace the original HR belt due to non exchangeable battery compartment, which pissed me off initially. But the ordering process & subsequent quick shipping was great & the thing is now working real well and when the battery dies I can replace it! Great company!

Suunto heart rate monitor

Suunto Standard Heart Rate Belt

This new belt fixed a problem of eratic heart rate measurements that I have had from the beginning of my purchase of the X6-HR.
The new, more flexable band is a plus.
The chest strap sizing is unsatisfactory. Having to order a larger strap that is easily in the rage of adjustments of a single strap (polar watches and the earlier HRs fit) is a bit of a rip off that one doesn't expect from a watch manufacture in this price range.
I have checked the heart rate monitor against others and it is accurate!

Heart belt
